BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA — Unless your name rhymes with Deff Bozos, the pandemic has been a strain on basically every industry. Nobody understands this more than local line cook Nate Bellows, for some reason. We sat down with him to chat about being out of work for so long, and why it hit him especially hard.
“I really miss my restaurant fam. I’ve just been sitting on my supplier connects, not fulfilling my usual weight,” he said, we presume talking about his food purveyors? “I tried to keep the sales momentum going, but it’s hard when you’re not in people’s faces every day – especially people who ride a rollercoaster of endorphins on the daily and need something to level them off. That was my entire client base.”
We can only assume he’s still talking about the food program at the restaurant he works at.
