HEMPSTEAD, NEW YORK — Classics are classics for a reason, but sometimes they need adjusting for the modern palate.  During his 3 year tenure as bar manager at Long Bow Lounge, Justin Armstrong has grown to understand this concept very well.

 

“Oh, hello!  Can I just get a daiquiri?” we ordered during a recent visit to Long Bow.

 

“The classic daiquiri, nice!  I make mine 50/50 with Barbancourt and Rum Fire. That cool?” he responded.
