WASHINGTON DC, UNITED STATES — We do not need to tell you that it is a scary time for the restaurant industry; we’re all living it. Unemployed Americans are seeing a trickle from the government in the form of financial aid, but restaurants themselves are being left in the cold.
“We are not looking for a bailout,” says Tom Colicchio in a recent briefing [via Eater] “We just want to make sure we all have a business to return to.”
We caught up with DC area server, Johnny Dallas, for reaction.
“Aw hell yeah, I serve those fools all the time. I hope I remember to ring their shit in when this is over,” he told us with a shrug. “I’ll be so distracted by not having a job, I may forget.”
