RESTON, VIRGINIA — The World Wildlife Federation is breathing a sigh of relief as news comes down that the endangered fruit fly population is starting to return to pre-pandemic levels.

 

“With their natural habitats being threatened, we are now breathing a sigh of relief,” a spokesperson from the WWF  said in the press release. “Welcome back, lil guys, we were worried about you.”
