SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH — Rhonda Stevens has been a professional server for nearly a decade, and at Nino Bistro for the last 4. Nino’s is the premier downtown institution of fine dining in the Salt Lake area. A month into her COVID quarantine, Rhona decided it would be a good time to finally Google some of those words she just blindly regurgitates at work.
“It started with aioli,” she told us. “Which, until today, I thought was just another word for sauce.”
W-h-a-t-i-s-g-l-u-t-e-n she typed into the search bar.
“Every pork special I’ve ever sold has been braised according to my spiel. Just thought it sounded cool. So it’s good to know what that means finally.”
