MYRTLE BEACH, SC — Closing at 2am, Mondays are hit or miss at Low Bo Bigg’s Lounge. Sarah Davis, who manages the floor part-time on Sundays and Mondays, is typically quick to ascertain how busy the night will be.
“You think we’re going to be dead tonight?” she asks out loud, to everyone when she arrives. Nobody offers an immediate answer.
She calls it at 8:30pm and writes her manager code on a scrap of printer paper. “You guys don’t need me, right? I’ll sit at B1 for a while to be safe though,” she says casually. “Can I just get the Riesling while I wait?”
