DALLAS, TEXAS — As hardened industry veterans, it isn’t easy to make the entire kitchen Leann’s Bistro feel starstruck all at once. But when the flawless technique of legendary house mixologist walks into the kitchen, jaws hit the floor.
“Hey Marjie, I’ve gotta make some pineapple syrup real quick,” he told the head chef who was prepping on the line. “Are you using this knife? What about the cutting board?”
The kitchen watched in awe as he went about meticulously preparing his fancy sugar water.
“Hey, can you guys keep an eye on this for a sec?” he asked, wiping his hands on someone’s towel. “I’ll be back in 10-15. Just turn it down if it begins to boil. Thanks!”
