BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA — All communities are moving back to normalcy at different speeds. Some are embracing masks and distancing rules, ensuring we only make this transition once. Others are children with no object permanence.
Area baby boomers Duane and Diane Wagner are skeptics, but are humoring advice from the so-called professionals. We caught up with them at the reopening of their favorite neighborhood spot, Dandy Lion Den.
“Uh oh, looks like I have this beautiful plate of rigatoni in front of me,” Duane said as his entree was placed, just loud enough for the surrounding tables to hear. “How the heck and I supposed to eat it with these mask rules ha ha!”
“Oh, Duane, you shut your mouth,” Diane whipped as she pulled her mask down to take a bite. “Be nice!”
